Dr. Rajendra Prasad Patel is Professor and Head of Department of Physics at Kalinga University, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He is Ph.D. and M. Sc. in Physics from Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur. He has more than 20 years of experience in Teaching, Administration and Research. He has worked in capacities like Head of Department, Member of Anti Ragging Committee and Proctorial Board, Board of Studies, etc.

He is Member of Editorial Board of 2 reputed International Journals and also Member of Review Committee for various Peer-reviewed National and International Journals. He is Life Member of Luminescence Society of India and Physics Teacher Association of India.

Dr. Patel has published 28 Research Papers in various reputed National and International Journals. He has merits of presenting more than 25 Research Papers in National and International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. He has also to his credit publishing of 9 Research Papers in proceeding of National and International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.

He has attended refresher course of 21 days in Research Methodology which was sponsored by University Grants Commission (UGC) and also attended 2 weeks and 1 week National and International Workshops.

He has delivered 5 invited talks, invited as a Resource Person in National Conferences and Chaired 4 Technical Sessions in National Conferences. He has been invited as a Subject Expert on Delhi Doordarshan (DD) which was a live telecast show and was also on repeat broadcast in prime time slots. He has organized 2 National Conferences which were sponsored by DST and CGCOST.

He has supervised 1 Ph. D. Scholar and 3 Research Scholars are pursuing Ph. D. under his supervision.
