Incinerator

Incineration is a waste treatment process that involves the combustion of organic substances contained in waste materials. Incineration and other high-temperature waste treatment systems are described as "thermal treatment".

Incineration of waste materials converts the waste into ash, flue gas and heat. The major advantage of incineration is that makes waste management easier and more efficient, because incineration can burn up to 90% of the total waste generated and sometimes even more. As a comparison, landfills only allow organic decomposition, so nonorganic waste keeps accumulating.

Kalinga University has installed State of the art Incinerator to dispose of the Waste materials responsibly and in an environment friendly manner.
