Excellence in teaching and research by educational institutes needs state-of-the-art sophisticated types of equipment, various workshops, and support facilities. These types of equipment and facilities help the faculty, research scholars, and students to carry out competitive R&D in basic and applied sciences.
Central Instrumentation Facility of Kalinga University houses a wide range of high-end instruments for pushing the boundaries of research in science and technology to a higher level. These instruments and facilities help the faculty, research scholars, and students to carry out globally competitive research in basic, applied, and life sciences.
The modern analytical instruments available in CIF offer a wide range of analytical methods/techniques for chemical/material testing and analysis. This consequently, will help researchers to publish their research findings in peer reviewed high impact factor journals.
Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) was started at Kalinga University and is established with a mission to enrich the resources on a shared basis for promoting R&D with the following objectives

When I went to Kalinga University to attend the workshop for hands on training on FTIR Spectroscopy. I have learnt how to characterize a particular sample in FTIR by kind guidance of the faculty members and also they showered us with their knowledge on various instruments and techniques. All the staff members and faculty were very supportive and kind. We all have learnt a lot from this exposure and we are looking forward for this kind of opportunities again, to improve our knowledge and skills during our research. Apart from this Kalinga University has very amazing huge evergreen campus with all the instrumentation facilities.

Seeing the green campus and the excellent research facilities at Kalinga University in Raipur was a fascinating experience. We learned a lot from the university's hands-on training sessions on the techniques of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). By attending seminars and receiving hands-on instruction from field experts, we learned the ins and outs of the instruments used in these techniques. With this newfound knowledge, we were able to better classify samples and interpret our results. The faculty of the department were extremely helpful and friendly, and we owe much to them for the training sessions they provided.
It was a good experience for me I learnt so many things from the workshop.I attended the workshop held on the HPLC biochemistry analyser and so on I also mentioned that the resource persons are knowledgeable and explain both practical and theoretical parts.
The training session was presented in an enthusiastic way. The content can be related not only to theories but also to events and situations in daily life. I can highly recommend these training sessions. Thank you!!
I believe that the environment created by the teachers and all the staff was excellent during the training process. They helped a lot throughout the program and I am really thankful to all the teachers for their immense support and guidance.
Thank you for a great training session. Great presentation style with lots of opportunities to ask questions and connect them with real-life examples which all made for an enjoyable and informative training.
