

Our Faculty of Science successfully organised a two-day International Conference - SCISUSTAIN 2025 in collaboration with Council of Industrial Research, New Delhi, on "Fostering Sustainable Development through Interdisciplinary Scientific Research", in Hybrid Mode. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Varnika Sharma, Chairperson, Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission, and Mr. Raju Agasimani, Chief Conservator, Forest Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University. Other keynote speakers highlighted the role of youth towards environmental responsibility and scientific innovation. National and international experts from leading institutions in India, the USA, and South Korea covered topics such as cancer research, artificial intelligence for sustainability, forensic science, and energy technologies. Over 720 participants from across India and abroad joined the conference, presenting 66+ Online Presentations, 44 Oral Presentations, and 30 Poster Presentations. The afternoon session began with cultural performances by students, followed by the valedictory ceremony. The conference was successfully coordinated by the faculty members with the help of student volunteers. SCISUSTAIN 2025 promoted scientific collaboration and sustainable innovation.
