

About the Program: To honour the spirit and values of the Indian Constitution, our Legal Aid Cell of the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Education, and NSS jointly organised and celebrated the 76th Year of the Indian Constitution. Themed "Dignity Beyond Text: POSH as an Instrument to Enforce Article 14 & 15 of the Constitution of India", the event highlighted the principles of the Indian Constitution, i.e., justice, equality, liberty, and dignity. The commemoration began with a Welcome Address by Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice-Chancellor, followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony. A major highlight of the day was the Inauguration of the Wall of Fame of Chief Justices of India, paying tribute to the Chief Justices for protecting our Constitutional values. Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Associate Professor, Dean & Registrar at Hidayatullah National Law University, Naya Raipur, delivered a speech on how the Constitution shapes social justice. The event also featured cultural performances that showcased India's unity and diversity.
