Under the auspices of AICTE-ATAL VAANI, we organised a three-day National Seminar on "Waste Optimisation and Sustainable Practices": A Sustainable Approach to Solid and E-Waste Management, Energy Recovery, and Climate Change Mitigation." Experts, researchers, students, and faculty members discussed solid and e-waste management, climate change mitigation, and energy recovery. The seminar promoted cross-cultural collaboration by featuring resource persons from Tamil Nadu. The inaugural speech was delivered by Chief Guest Dr. C.R. Prasanna, IAS, who delivered a speech on waste-to-wealth strategies. Guest of Honour Mr. Gurunanthan, IFS, mentioned sustainability policies, while other dignitaries shared their knowledge on cleaner technologies and energy recovery to seaweed-based reGuest cycling innovations. The seminar inspired participants to adopt sustainable practices for a cleaner and greener future.
