

About the Program: The Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Indian National Bar Association (INBA), organized Trainers' Training Certification Course" on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013, aimed at educating and training participants on the legal and practical aspects of sexual harassment in the workplace. Held on every Saturday and Sunday via the Microsoft Teams platform, the training program saw an active participation of over 200 people from various sectors, including industry professionals, HR experts, and academicians. Participants were informed about employer accountability, the functioning of Internal Complaint Committees (ICC), and implementing communication strategies to address and prevent harassment. Mrs. Vinakshi Kadan Singh, Advocate at the Supreme Court, put emphasis on workplace equality, Ms. Neetika Bajaj, Advocate at the Delhi High Court, focused on the various forms of sexual harassment, Dr. Badrinath Srinivasan from Bharat Petroleum explained the role of the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) and the legal framework surrounding POSH, and many other legal experts presented impactful sessions. This training program was an important step toward creating a safer and more inclusive work environment.
