About the Program: Our Faculty of Law, in collaboration with several prestigious institutions, organised a Two-Day Global Conference on Recent Trends in Law, Arbitration, Mediation, Economy and Society, which was attended by legal experts, policymakers, and academicians. The welcome speech was given by Prof. (Dr.) Azimkhan B. Pathan, Dean, Faculty of Law, which was further carried on by Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University. The keynote address was given by Hon'ble Justice Saleem Marsoof, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, who presented a detailed analysis of global dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly focusing on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Adv. K. Riju Raj S. Jamwal, Advocate & Legal Consultant, Supreme Court of India and Managing Partner, JRD & Partners, highlighted the impact of artificial intelligence on the legal profession. Panel discussions formed an integral part of the event, covering topics such as the role of law and mediation in economic growth and social justice. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Saloni Tyagi Shrivastava, HOD, Faculty of Law, Kalinga University. The second day of the conference continued with technical sessions, research paper presentations, and interactive discussions. The conference saw the participation of 200 research paper presenters and 150 attendees, and Certificates of Merit were awarded to the top three best paper presentations.
