Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya is a Professor in school of Arts and Humanities, Department of English at Kalinga University, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She is Ph. D., M. Phil. and M.A. in English. She has over 16 years of versatile experience in Teaching, Administration and Research. She has the experience of working in capacities like Dean, Head of the Department, OSD (Ph. D. Cell), Core Committee Member of IQAC, Chairperson BOS, Chairperson Board of Examination, etc.

She is the President of English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI), Raipur Chapter. She is the Editor of 1 Research Journal and Review Committee Member of 2 Peer-reviewed National Journals.

Dr. Shilpi Bhattacharya received 2 Best Paper Awards in National Conferences. She received Certificate of Appreciation for Global Understanding from East Carolina University, North Carolina, USA. She is the Convenor of 3 National Conferences.

She has communicated 27 Research Papers in various National and International Conferences. She has the merit of publishing 18 quality Research Papers - ISSN bearing referred National and International Journals and merit of publishing 1 book from an International publisher and 2 chapters contributed in anthology on Nobel Laureates.

She has Chaired Technical Sessions in 5 National and International Conferences and delivered invited talks in various Faculty Development Sessions. She was invited as Resource Person in 2 National Conferences. She successfully completed 1 Mini Research Project on English Language Acquisition and 1 Consultancy Project. 1 Research Project under the IMPRESS scheme of ICSSR is under process.

Currently 1 Ph. D. and 8 M. Phil. Scholars are awarded under her supervision and 1 Ph. D. thesis is submitted under her supervision. She is invited in various Universities pan India as External Examiner for Ph. D. Final Defence.
