Dr. Ajay Shukla is Professor and HOD of Hindi Department in Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Kalinga University, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He is M.A, NET, SET and Ph.D. in Hindi and has 18 years of Academic experience.

He has published more than 13 Research Papers, about 50 poems, articles and critical appreciations in reputed National Journals, Magazines and Newspapers.

Before joining Kalinga University he was holding the post of Principal at K.R. Technical College Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh). He was a member of Board of Studies in Rajiv Gandhi Government Autonomous PG College Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh.

He is a member of Editorial Board of a reputed literature magazine “Paraspar” published by Sarguja Hindi Sahitya Parisad. He was the Co-Convenor of 2 National Conferences and he was invited as Resource Person in 2 National Conferences.

He has also served as coordinator of ‘Bal Swaraj’, a weekly newspaper sponsored and published by UNICEF and Deshbandhu Newspaper group. He has served as District Secretary of Indian Journalist Union.

He is the former District Secretary of Chhattisgarh Janwadi Lekhak Sangh in Surguja District.
