Dr Anita Samal is a Post-Graduate and Ph. D. in Political Science from the University of Mysore, Mysore, Dr. Anita Samal has about 7 years of experience in teaching and research. Specialized in Gender Issues in Governance and Development, she pursued her doctoral research on “Women in Development Bureaucracy: A Study in Karnataka State” at the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore.
Dr. Anita has worked with multi-disciplinary research institutions and universities, and has presented papers in national and international seminars and conferences. She has published more than 5 Research Papers in reputed International National Journals. She also guided research scholars who pursued their Ph D at Kalinga University. Prior to joining Kalinga University, she had worked with Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur and also the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore. Currently, she teaches Political Theory, Political Thought (Western and Indian), Indian Political System, Political Sociology, Comparative Political Systems, Public Administration and International Politics.
