Moot Court

The University has a Moot Court hall for conduction of its intra and inter Moot Court activities. The Faculty shares a well-equipped Legal Aid Cell where the students undergo training by handling practical case studies from the society and take up the cases in innovative ways.

Regular moot courts have been conducted to enable students to analyse and argue both sides of hypothetical legal cases before professors, lawyers, retired judges & jurists who serve as judges using procedures modelled after those employed in state and federal appellate courts. Such exposure further helps students during their career.

A moot court is an extracurricular activity at Kalinga University in which students take part in simulated court proceedings, which usually involves drafting memorials or memoranda and participating in oral argument.
