1. Monitor and Minimize Water Consumption:

We are dedicated to continuously monitoring and minimizing the University's water consumption.

 

2. Promote Indigenous Planting:

We encourage the planting of indigenous flora in and around the University, contributing to reduced water usage and fostering biodiversity.

 

3. Alternative Water Systems:

Regularly review opportunities to reduce the use of mains water by Installing alternative water systems, including rainwater harvesting systems, wherever feasible on campus.

 

4. Sustainable Water Systems:

Engage students, faculty, and staff in maintaining sustainable water systems on campus.

All buildings on our campus are equipped with the KURWH system, connected to recharge wells.

 

Kalinga University is committed to adopting the right combination of superior, state-of-the-art technologies for rainwater harvesting.

 

We actively promote the KURWH system through inclusiveness and regular knowledge-sharing sessions with concerned stakeholders.
