The Kalinga University Education System encourages the concept of gender sensitivity as a way to reduce barriers to personal and economic development created by discrimination. Gender sensitivity helps to generate respect for the individual regardless of sex. Gender sensitivity is not about pitting women against men.

▶️Provide a curriculum that caters to the educational needs and rights of both female and male students in terms of content, language, and methodology.

▶️Develop a curriculum that challenges unfair cultural practices and recognizes the contributions of women and diverse groups of men in society.

▶️Encourage the development of positive attitudes and behaviors in both male and female students, promoting social responsibility, empathy, and nonviolent relationships.

▶️Provide a challenging and socially/culturally supportive learning environment that is physically comfortable for both female and male students.

▶️Support women in areas where the community is responsible for the curriculum, both financially and materially.
